Online Course Registration for Fall 2021-2022

Online Course Registration in The Source will open March 15 – April 9 for students in grades 9 – 11 to enroll into their classes for the next school year. Below you will find course materials that will help guide you to select your classes. Students will be selecting their electives and back up electives. It is important to have this completed by the calendar date in which Counselors will be going into Humanities classes. Advisory teachers on 3/17 will also provide students with resources. Counselors will be in Humanities classes starting March 22 to review courses students pick and ensure that all students have filled out the online Class Registration and is aligned with their high school graduation requirements.

Cleveland STEM High School Online Registration 2020-2021

Follow the directions below to register for next year’s classes in the 2021-2022 school year:

Print out your planning worksheet below on page. Fill out your planning worksheet.
- Use your grade history via the source/ transcript/Cleveland registration handbook to inform your decisions.
Login to The Source with your Seattle Public Schools account information.
- Visit the Source at: http://ps.nutrientsforplants.com
Your Home page in The Source will show Cleveland Registration and prompt you to enter the elective and alternate backup elective classes you selected on your registration form.
When you complete your selections for each category, a green checkmark will show on the right side of your screen.
Complete your paper planning worksheet and online registration form before your school counselor comes to meet with you in Humanities (See calendar below for dates).
- Counselors will check that you selected courses that align with your post high school plan including high school graduation and college admissions requirements.

Online Course Registration Documents

Consult with your advisory teacher or counselor if you have questions re: a specific subject area’s course sequence. Students with IEPs should work directly with their IEP case manager to select their courses for 2021-22.

PLEASE NOTE! Your 2021-22 class schedule is built completely on which courses & alternates you SUBMIT ONLINE. If you do not complete this CRITICAL step within your registration, it could result in not getting the courses you wanted.

Cleveland STEM High School Online Registration 2020-2021

Hello incoming 9th grade students and families! The online registration portal is now open in the Source. You will be registering for next year’s classes in the 2021-2022 school year at Cleveland by April 30th!

Below you will find a welcome letter that will give you some information about Cleveland and the 2 STEM academies we have. Below you will also find instructions for registering for classes online in the Source. Below you will also find a pathway selection/course planning worksheet that will list the core classes you must take as well as allow you to select your electives. Note that your pathway class will be determined by which STEM academy you select; be sure to indicate whether you are interested in SOLS or SOED. Lastly, below you will find a graduation requirement checklist to help inform you of which classes you will need to take over the next 4 years at Cleveland. You will use this checklist to keep track of classes taken and credits earned throughout the next 4 years also.

Please read these documents carefully and in their entirety to help you successfully register for classes.

Counselors will be visiting select middle schools to help incoming 9th graders register for next year’s classes as well. If you need additional support or if you are at a middle school we did not visit, please reach out to your counselor:
